Journey of Store974: From Humble Beginnings to Revolutionizing Gaming in Qatar and Beyond
In 2018, Khalifa Al Haroon, a passionate gamer, struggled to build his own gaming PC due to the lack of locally available components in Qatar. Realizing that many other gamers faced the same challenge, he decided to create a solution—not just for himself, but for the entire gaming community. This vision led to the birth of Store974, Qatar’s first dedicated gaming store. The journey of Store974 began in 2019 with the opening of its first branch at The Gate Mall, offering high-performance gaming products and fostering a vibrant community of enthusiasts. Early on, Store974 identified a key challenge: the lack of direct supply from leading gaming brands in Qatar. This limited access to quality components and raised costs for local gamers. Determined to address this, Store974 partnered with over 60 top-tier global brands, revolutionizing the gaming market in Qatar and ensuring gamers had access to the best products at competitive prices. During the COVID19 pandemic in 2020, as people turned to gaming while stuck at home, Store974 rose to the occasion, meeting the growing demand and supporting gamers across Qatar. With continued success, Store974 expanded to the Mall of Qatar in 2022 and launched the Middle East’s largest gaming store at Place Vendôme Mall in 2023. Khalifa’s passion turned a personal challenge into a thriving business, empowering gamers across the region. Today, Store974 has become a cornerstone of Qatar’s gaming culture & stands as a testament to innovation and community, inspiring gamers to dream big and level up.
